## Volunteer by filling out Translation Form

Start by filling out [this form](https://fresqueduclimat.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/27/create/87) if you want to translate Climate Fresk cards.

We will then send you an invite to join a platform called Tolgee, which we use to translate them while facilitating collaboration between translators and the Climate Fresk team.

This step may take up to a week since it is done manually by someone in the team. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!

## Create a Tolgee account and start translating!

Once you’ve received an email from Tolgee inviting to join one of Climate Fresk’s project, you can create your account. This [tutorial](https://fresqueduclimat.atlassian.net/wiki/external/OWYyMDdiMzA3ZjY0NDVhNWE1MzYxMzkxYjlkODM5ZGE) explains how to do so and guide you through your first steps on Tolgee.

You can then start translating directly into on Tolgee’s platform.

## Team up for the best results!

If you are in contact with other Freskers that are willing to help you translate, please share [the application form](https://fresqueduclimat.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/27/create/87) with them or contact us on their behalf through the same form.

We recommend having **at least one translator** accompanied by **another person(s) to review and validate **the translation. Proofreading with fresh eyes helps to identify even the smallest mistakes! The reviewer can validate lines of translated text individually or in its entirety, as explained in the [Tolgee tutorial](https://fresqueduclimat.atlassian.net/wiki/external/OWYyMDdiMzA3ZjY0NDVhNWE1MzYxMzkxYjlkODM5ZGE).

Once validated, the lines of translated text turn green, which allows everyone to monitor translation progress.

## Ask for the creation of the PDF file

Once you (and your team) have translated and validated the text, you can contact us through [this form](https://fresqueduclimat.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/27/create/87) to request a test PDF file based on Tolgee translations. This may be useful if you want to check how the text is laid out on the cards.

You’ll then have the option to make any final modifications.

Once we have your final validation, we will publish the cards in the [Resource Centre](https://climatefresk-ressources.softr.app/home-en) so that all Freskers can access them.
